LEGAL NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

The duly qualified electors and voters of the Town of Columbia, Connecticut and any other persons entitled to vote upon any of the matters contained in this warning are hereby notified to meet in the Adella G. Urban Conference Room, 323 Route 87, Columbia, CT on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. for the following purpose:

CLAUSE 1: Shall the Town of Columbia appropriate $44,680.00 from the Open Space Land Acquisition Account #20-6388-013 to be applied toward the purchase of that certain piece or parcel of land in the Town of Columbia, consisting of approximately 22.92 acres of open space land located at 330 Route 66, subject to negotiation of an acceptable access easement with the State Department of Transportation, and the simultaneous conveyance to the seller of an 0.58 acre easement parcel currently owned by the Town of Columbia.
