Veteran Small Business Expo on Wednesday, November 2 at 47 Crescent Street, Willimantic

The Eastern CT Veterans Community Center and the Windham Region Chamber of Commerce are partnering with the SBA to hold the first statewide Veteran Small Business Expo on Wednesday, November 2 at 47 Crescent Street, Willimantic.  On site will be agencies, lenders and small business resource partners focused on all phases of entrepreneurship.  In addition, free workshops on getting certified as a veteran owned business, business plan basics, financing your business, franchising and veteran specific programs and resources.  LTC Thomas J. Saadi, Commissioner of the CT Department of Veteran Affairs will open the day and help us celebrate National Veterans Small Business Week.  The event is free for all veterans.  We ask that you register for the workshops by scanning the QR code on the flyer.  For more information please email Connecticut_do@sba.gov or call or text 860-423-6389.
